Vision

Avon High School’s Bound for College Program Vision Statement: To create a “college-going culture” by surrounding students with adults and peers who build and support their college-going aspirations, helping all students gain the confidence that they are College Bound – where and when they are ready to go.

“Many of these young people fail to realize their aspirations because the process of preparing for life after high school is often a mystery to them” (The High School Leadership Summit); our goal is to demystify the college experience and expectations so our students feel confident that they can handle the academics and collegiate life that are in the future for so many of our students, either right after high school or later in life.
